Does anyone have experience with aquatic plants? My daughter recently added some to her axolotl aquarium and I’d love any tips or tricks to keep them happy.

Omg so cutteee! | LOVE Axolotls!!! | want one so bad but my kuhli loaches would not appreciate that lol With aquatic plants, it's good to keep in mind that your water parameters have a lot to do with plant health. This looks like a Java Fern! They don't do well planted in the substrate. They like being tired or glued to decor like rocks, driftwood, or hides! Because it's an Axo, I wouldn't use fertilizer (I know I previously said to but amphibians are different from fish and their health is also different) and if a fertilizer has any iodine, it can be toxic to axo’s and even morph them into land amphibians (I found this out recently and blew my mind)
