Hello, I received this plant in rescue box. It’s a philodendron micans. Obviously it’s looking very sad, is it likely it will regrow and does anyone have any tips on how best to bring it back to life? Thank you!!

Give it plenty of sunlight, humidity, water, time, love, and patience!

1 LikeDon’t trim. They usually put out new growth on stems this short once they get good care.
1 LikeThat can recover as long as the roots and stems are good. It looks under watered or it could have needed more light/fertilizer. I recommend checking it for pests after removing it from the pot. Check for root rot, pests or mold. Place it in the same pot. Do not change out the soil unless there are issues. This will reduce the stress. You can repot after the plant recovers. Thoroughly water. Let the soil dry out between watering. Check for dampness in the soil using a bamboo skewer, chopstick, or similar tool like you are checking if a cake is finished baking. Damp soil sticks to the tool indicating the soil is still wet. Don’t strictly follow Planta’s watering schedule. You can end up with water issues. Use it as a reminder to check he plant. Wait a week or two to fertilize. Then, fertilize once a month in colder months with diluted fertilizer. I add SuperThrive plant vitamins to the water to boost growth. Good luck!🍀🪴
