I need to spray some of my plants with neem, and it’s in the 40s today. Has anybody ever used neem in an enclosed shower? Is it safe? TIA… 🤗💚🪴

I mix 2 tbsp neem oil, 1 tbsp peppermint castile soap, 1 tbsp rubbing alcohol, and 2 cups warm water. Then spray my plants in my kitchen sink and wipe the leaves with microfiber gloves. Cleanup is easy - wipe everything with a paper towel and then rinse and use a Clorox wipe

0 LikesIt helps with spider mites and other pests. I would also recommend using systemic houseplant insect control. A little sprinkle on the soil and then a deep water protects plants for around 8-10 weeks!
1 LikeI’ve always been afraid to use the granular systemic pesticide in my house. Comments?
0 LikesI sprinkle mine on with a spoon. Super easy no mess. I haven’t had any issues with it and my cats don’t seem to have any problems either… granted they leave the plants alone.
1 LikeI use that one. Great for pests
2 LikesI cannot handle neem smell. I mask up before I drag plants into the shower to shower them off, then apply it.
1 LikeNeem is definitely safe, just stinks. I put the fan on and quickly spray then close the door and let the fan suck up the smell :) I wouldn’t use the systemic in an enclosed space however….
