Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has been or has grown an orchid in water before, I want to try it out so any tips or suggestions would be nice thanks! 😊

    I haven’t but I’ve seen lots of videos on YouTube about how to! It seems easy! Honestly easier than growing in a potting medium. Contrary to belief, orchids are pretty hardy and can grow pretty easily as long as they have a consistent schedule of water, food, and temperature. Try looking at “plantswithkrystal” on instagram! She had a TON of good advise on a variety of plants! I hope this helps! -An orchid dad

    my mom has kept and orchid in water for the last 3 odd years, it doesn’t flower much but it’s been quite happy in a clear/glass container and water reaching the bottom of the root ball. enough that the roots are being sustained but not so much that it’s submerged in water constantly. honestly as long as it’s in a consistent temperature and water/food schedule it should be right as rain
