My orange marmalade philodendron has some very sticky spots on the stems that are small, round, clear like water, but when I touch the plant, it is very sticky. AI diagnosed it as honeydew, but I’d like some more help as to what would be appropriate treatment for this plant, if any. TIA!

    It's called extra floral nectar and plants produce these sweet droplets that you may see on the stems or in between the leaf joints as a way to attract insects like ants and wasp. It’s nothing to worry about

      Thanks so much for that info! I’ve been fighting a long-term battle with fungus, and was already up in arms about a new battle with pests, so I really appreciate your answer!
