All purpose potting soil is a pretty good bet for -most- plants. If you want to get more specialized soil, you can buy succulent and cactus soil for your succulents and cacti, tropical plant soil for your tropicals, etc. I personally recommend trying to use soil that is as close to what each plant is already used to as you can get to reduce the effects of transplant shock, but it’s not necessary to do so.
3 likesI agree with the top comment. If you would like to make your own, go to “care info” on the plant you want to repot, move to “soil and fertilize” I think it’s called and there click on the top type of soil and Planta will tell you how to do your own mix. It will have the different types you could use and mix, you pick whichever is best or easier for you to make. This is what I’ve done to all my 33 plants and they are thriving, best of luck and I hope this helps.
3 likesI really just buy indoor potting soil. Seems to work well for me!
0 likesI just use all purpose soil or a nepotism potting mix soil
0 likesI have a bag of both all purpose and succulent soil + extra bag of perlite. Always extra bag of perlite. No rot today. Usually do 1 to 1 scoop ratio
