I just added a baby one to my collection, it was a grocery store impulse buy. It looked sickly which was to be expected, so when I got it home I wiped it down and trimmed the icky leaves, then repotted it in a chunky soil mix (coco coir, large pumice, pearlite and a bit of worm castings). I’ve got right on the window sill in a South facing window. It’s in a room I don’t frequent which works out great because it seems to tolerate me forgetting to water it. From what I e read it likes to dry out quite a bit between watering. It’s been about 4 weeks and it’s sprouting lots of new leaves. I think it might be its way of saying thank you for rescuing me!

いいね 1件It was a gift from my daughter a few years ago. If not for that it would have hit the yard waste bin a long time ago. 🥴 But I know people who swear their peperomias are their easiest plants. And they’re the cutest plants. And there’s so many different kinds and they all look totally different. I really love them as plants but I enjoy them when I see them in nurseries and other peoples homes. I know it’s pretty much a death sentence for them if I bring them home.
