Hi guys! I’ve been noticing this transparent “water” drop on the baby leaves of my philea. It is sticky and smells kinda like peppermint (I guess). And it is ALWAYS on the leaves that are still sprouting. Does someone know if this is normal? I checked for bugs and didn’t find anything. The plant looks healthy and strong. I’m worried it might be honeydew but can’t see any bugs. It’s the second time I see this. PS. Please let me know if you think my plant is. It healthy 😅

I’ve been having the same problem! Also no sign of pests, and plant looks healthy otherwise. I think it might be normal? Anyway I don’t think you have to worry if nothing else looks wrong.

Yes, the plant looks happy. Look at what sunny said on the comment below. You might want to check your plant as well. :)

Looks like overwatering, low light or both. The look of the plant could come from both conditions: - Drooping stems - Yellowing or pale color - Folding leaves - Translucent leaves, especially vegetation around the new growth - Cells pushing out moisture and salts (guttation) - Cells swollen and bursting leaving pock marks and spotting (edema)

You are welcome! You may have to add a little ring grow light over it and let it run 10 to 12 hours a day.
