I am so disappointed in how my white knight looks now. Originally this was a beautiful plant. It got a little leggy so I chopped and propped about 9 months ago. But the leaves are so variable in how they look. Older ones are green with variegation. One was half pure white. The white part eventually died. Another fell off last night because it was green with white and burgundy. Sounds good but did not look good. I’m almost to the point of giving it away. Very shortly it’s going to need a trellis and not sure if I want to bother. My wife likes the colors, so guess I’m just searching for some opinions right now.

I think if you have to convince yourself to try and keep it, it might be time to let it go. If your wife likes it, do you think maybe she’d want it? Or any nearby friends/family? I’ve been downsizing my collection a bit lately, and gifting plants that are doing fine, but I’m just not as interested in to friends and family, so personally, I’m picking the plants that I’m only keeping because of how long I’ve had them, or how much care I’ve put into them, as the plants I’m giving new homes that will appreciate them again. And one less plant makes room for one new future plant 😏

If she’s not bringing you joy, gift her!

If you and the plant would both be happier maybe it’s time to rehome her to a plant savvy family or friends home! No shade, I have a few I have been thinking about gifting to fellow plant lovers in my life too!
