Recently got a few baby plants, like 2" pots maybe 3-4 leaves, from a nursery. What's your routines to adjust them from nursery life to your house? I have them isolated and set aside in some bright indirect light currently

    I have a homemade greenhouse set up in my plant room aka my home office: I got a cheap a wire bakers rack from fb marketplace, equipped it with bar grow lights zip tied to the underside of each shelf and I (hear me out) wrapped it in a clear shower curtain with small magnet hooks and placed the entire shelf in a shallow boot tray full of cheap river rock with a small amount of water in it, which helps humidity, then I keep the babies in dollar tree dish pans for ease of bottom watering. They sit close to the lights and tend to thrive and grow faster! When they show a decent amount of growth I move them out to a normal shelf

      Very interesting solution. I'm looking to create a similar setup for over wintering. I have some shelves, just need lights. The shower curtain and magnetic hooks is brilliant.

      And cheap! I got the magnetic hooks on Amazon for a different project and had extra, I wrapped it from back to front to allow me to be able to open it up when I need to

    That's really about it. Just make sure to not over water them while they acclimate to their new home. Depending on the plant, wait about a month before you repot. More hardy plants, like succulents, cacti, etc can handle being repotted much sooner.

    mine get an immediate wipe down with diluted neem oil and a root check in 2wks if nothing is visibly wrong. other than that you've got it perfect
