How do you all water your Venus Flytrap? I’ve got mine sitting in a small dish that I fill with distilled water and it soaks it all up within a day or two. Is that normal? Excited to see a flower about to bloom. Didn’t know they did that!

    Wow yours looks great compared to mine. What kind of light do you keep it in? Indoor vs outdoor?

      Plus I just water mine pretty much everyday in the summer and every couple of days otherwise (per the Planta schedule). I think they like a lot of water.

      I keep it inside under a grow light. I repotted it in sphagnum moss.

    I care for mine about the same. I’ll let mine dry slightly between watering again. I have heard the flower can either indicate an impending death or because it’s happy lol 🥴 I always cut mine off and it seems to be hanging in there!

      I hope it’s not a death bloom. It hasn’t bloomed yet but I can’t chop it off now, I’ve been waiting too long for it to bloom! It’s 7” tall now.

    So it bloomed 4 beautiful dainty flowers which have since died. Do I cut off the long stem or let it do its thing?
