My very oldest plant that I have is about 11 1/2 years old and it’s a flaming Katy. I will say that if you let it get leggy, it will definitely continue. Mine is just ridiculously tall (I can’t let it hang because …..cats 😆) So I cut off a bunch and I’m propagating it which is pretty easy. And I’ll plant it back down around the base. Every time I’ve transplanted a plant it has become traumatized, so while I’m not an expert, I wouldn’t necessarily plant it and transplant it multiple times.

For some reason, I just can’t bring myself to do it to this plant lol. My parents got it for me when I started my job and it’s older than my house and all my pets. 😆
