Does anyone have any tips for keeping your plants alive while on a trip? I’m going on a 10 day vacation soon and I don’t want my plants to die while I’m gone

The weeks leading up to leaving I try to avoid / push back watering. Then right before leaving, give them a good drench

Yes I did the same! If there are any specific plants that would be to touchy I ask a friend to water them while I am gone

Also, if you have little tiny plants or seedlings, placing them on a tray/plate and then put them in a storage bin with a tiny bit of water at the bottom, water the plants through on the tray (so they are not directly sitting in water but are moist), then close the lid, and you got yourself some humidity to keep those little babies safe and moist while you’re away For moss poles, you can water the moss pole through until its moist and then wrap cling film around it to keep it moist for longer

Also m, I see a girl on YouTube use a plastic cup on top of a moss pole with a little hole in it so it can take what it needs when it needs, thought that was a smart idea!

“Water bulbs” on Amazon for the ones that really need to get wet

Have never tried this, but have seen forms of this a couple of times. It’s a DIY self watering/wicking system.
