I live in upstate NY. I have a hibiscus in a pot. I’ve cut it back. Will I be able to save it for next year by bringing it inside over the winter months ?

I'm sure you could, but it might be risky, but leaving it outside is almost a guaranteed death. I live in Florida so I can't say I can relate but I would.

I've been doing this for several years, I do store mine in the garage over winter, I don't even bother cutting it back, put it back outside in the spring and it bounces back in no time. It gets bigger every year and I only water it about once a month during the winter.

I had two that I would wheel into the dining room window. Did it for several years until they became too big.
