I was taking a break from creating adult coloring books (yes, I’m an author in my retired life)… and I was staring into space and I noticed that my snake plant was flowering! It even has some cute water droplets coming out. I looked it up and I’m so confused… Snake plants prefer to be a bit root bound and can bloom from either mild/continuous stress or when in ideal growing conditions. So this is either perfect, or it’s stressed. Ummmmm????? I have so many questions.

A lot of people suggest cutting the blooms off to save the plants energy.

More than likely if your plant is healthy, it’ll bloom once in a blue moon to show how happy they are. I let them bloom cause it’s a rarity. I cut after a few days of enjoying. Some consider it lucky when plants that usually don’t bloom let out a flower. So consider it lucky!!!
