Is it in a very very sunny spot
0개 좋아요Yes, for about 7 hours a day

0개 좋아요I water the fig frequently with large amounts of water
0개 좋아요Then that’s not it my father grows mostly outside plants and he has a fig tree I think it’s normal for them to get a couple dry leaves.
0개 좋아요Because Texas climate is dry. They do like humidity so
0개 좋아요Figs can suffer from fig rust. Mine are prone to it because of the high humidity here. They can also just get browning from over watering. But really the solution is the same.... dry them out. If it's rust, which is caused by a fungus, you can use a fungicide on the foliage and soil. But generally if I just dry them out, trim off the browning leaves and pick up any fallen leaves. It goes away quickly
0개 좋아요Thanks! It is very humid here in Texas!!
0개 좋아요Would using neem oil help? I wipe the leaves of my ficus ruby once a week with a rag with neem oil on it.
