Is it in a very very sunny spot
0 Me gustaYes, for about 7 hours a day
0 Me gustaIt might be sun burned usually when plants get alot of light they also require misting and ex watering especially if it’s outside
0 Me gustaI water the fig frequently with large amounts of water
0 Me gustaThen that’s not it my father grows mostly outside plants and he has a fig tree I think it’s normal for them to get a couple dry leaves.
0 Me gustaBecause Texas climate is dry. They do like humidity so
0 Me gustaFigs can suffer from fig rust. Mine are prone to it because of the high humidity here. They can also just get browning from over watering. But really the solution is the same.... dry them out. If it's rust, which is caused by a fungus, you can use a fungicide on the foliage and soil. But generally if I just dry them out, trim off the browning leaves and pick up any fallen leaves. It goes away quickly
0 Me gustaThanks! It is very humid here in Texas!!
0 Me gustaWould using neem oil help? I wipe the leaves of my ficus ruby once a week with a rag with neem oil on it.
