Went to Lowe’s for the first time ever for plants… (my plant addiction started in a town w no big department stores other than Wally World and Menards) And I’m obsessed!! We got these four new babies! Does anyone have any advice on the lucky bamboo?! Do I put it in water do I get a chunky bamboo soil or do I put it in lecca??

Beautiful plants!! As per the bamboo it's personal preference!! I have mine in water but it has to be bottled or filtered water and it has to have some stones or marbles of some sort at the bottom! And careful because they don't like direct sunlight ☺️

Lucky bamboo isn’t actually bamboo. It’s a type of dracaena! I’ve never had one, so I can’t recommend care, but I’ve heard they do great in soil. I’ve started with semi-hydroponic plants recently in leca and such, and it seems to be an easy and low-maintenance option.

I’m hoping to move a lot of my plants that I can to leca or more of a chunky soil. Rn the lucky is sitting in water until I’m able to run errands but I am gunna see what I can do.

My lucky bamboo is just by itself on a little vase with tap water. Shes thriving and loves life 😂
