Curious about grow lights. I’ve seen ones that I think are good (?) for like $30ish. I’ve also noticed ones for over $300. What do you all use and what price point should I look for?

Brand names are important, like Barrina OR Sansi, they’re perfect if you’re getting more advanced with your plants or starting with anything variegated that needs as much as it can receive… They are available on Amazon and just be expected to spend about 60$.. I definitely recommend the standing light poles!

1 mi piacei use 20-40$ grow lights on my plants and for at what stage i’m at in life rn my plants are growing beautifully
3 Mi piaceI get mine from Lowe’s or amazon tbh and they’ve been great! Wattage is more important than brand names (: if you can I would suggest getting the protection plans though because if you have yours in a humid room like mine they are more susceptible to damage.
2 Mi piaceI have many grow lights because I have many succulents. I have tried many brands also. The problem is that most lights have good reviews but these reviews are from people who have not compared their cheap lights to the better brands. Those skinny tube looking lights with multiple colors are pretty much useless. A small 10 watt Sansi is much brighter than a 10 watt cheaper brand. I have found some that I like and use for supplemental light. And one that I use in a shade room for succulents. It seems to be bright enough. That’s the first pic. I like this light a lot. My other favorite is from Sansi. It’s new and difficult to get. And wild pricing. I got all of mine for under $20 each. It’s been as high as $75. Crazy. In general, I use Sansi for high light succulents and Barrina for tropicals, Gasteria, and haworthia.
2 Mi piaceI have 2 tripod (1 pole light, and 3 headed adjustable bulbs) and then i have several single light clips and one heavier 2 headed bulb clip. All mine have timers and are from Sansi. Im pretty happy with them all. The pole light tripod did take a couple months to get tho. Was on back order. Im in michigan and we are pretty dark most of the winter so i love that i can set the timers and not worry about them not getting enough light.
