Mini Monstera: I would like this guy to fill out. He was a rehab project and has healthy new growth, but it’s all in a single stalk. Do I need to cut him back? If so, how far?

Its ready for a chop and prop. The mother plant will push new growth and once the chop puts out new roots you can start a new pot or drop it right back with mom

cut it back right up to that bare bit of stem. almost all plants exhibit something called apical dominance, they will always prefer to activate the topmost axillary bud. cutting any higher won't give you growth on the bare part. yes i learned a new term this week, now you get to learn it too LOL

I did it! Thank you for the help. I know that’s usually the solution but sometimes it makes me nervous 😂
