Can’t tell for sure but those might be fungus gnats

Those definitely look more like fungus gnats. I’ve unfortunately dealt with them many times. Most common cause is soil that is too damp, as the gnats will feed on root rot. I’ve also had it happen when I bring home a new plant that is infected, and they spread to other plants. Luckily they’re pretty easy to get rid of, I recommend doing some research and picking the best method for you. Some things I’ve tried are sticky traps, diluted peroxide rinses, neem oil, topping soil with sand. I’ve had most success with using diluted peroxide to kill the eggs and larva (be very careful to dilute properly), layer of sand to prevent adults from getting into the soil to lay new eggs, and sticky traps to catch the adults.

I absolutely love the “fooxem fruit fly trap” on Amazon. It’s a uv light they are attracted to and fly under, a fan blows them down onto a sticky paper

Brenden, does the soil need to be totally coated with sand or kind of just sprinkled to scare off the gnats? How much peroxide would you put in a gallon of water and would you just water with that?

I don’t know about the sand part, but, I generally mix 1 part peroxide and 4 parts water and make sure to get it in the soil around the plant while avoiding getting it directly on the leaves/stems

I recommend watering with a Mosquito Bits solution. Its active ingredient is the beneficial Bti bacteria that kills the fungus gnat larvae in the soil. No larvae means no flying adults. Instructions are on the package. I water every time with Mosquito Bits in the water. I don’t need to use other solutions or use yellow sticky traps. I have over 140 plants.

I am going to start doing this..Do any of your plants respond poorly to the bit water?

Mosquito Bits don’t hurt plants/pets. The manufacturer makes Mosquito Dunks, those donut shaped rings that are placed in ponds and bird baths to stop the growth of mosquito larvae. Mosquito Bits are made of the same material, the Bti bacteria. They have been used for many years and are non toxic.
