Fungus Gnat Advice Hey everyone! I have 30+ houseplants I adore but have the worst infestation of fungus gnats. Diatomaceous earth is helping and I am drying them out now and adjusting schedule. Does anyone have a Neem Oil they like or anything else? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    It’s a battle! I thought watering with diluted hydrogen peroxide was the biggest help. It kills eggs and larvae so it breaks the life cycle. But you can’t do it every time bc it will also kill beneficial bacteria. You have to keep doing treatments for awhile too or it starts all over again

    I added nematode granuales to my soil and that worked pretty well

    Kills fungus gnat larvae. Lasts for 2 months. Cannot verify for sure because I have never had fungus gnat issue but maybe this is why. I use it to control mealy bugs.

    Are you in the States? Happy house plants has amazing gnat "death drops" that work well. You can also remove a couple cm off the top of the soil, spray with hydrogen peroxide and then top your soil back up! Blue bug lights also help - they have sticky paper on them to trap. I also love my pings if you're into carniverous plants. Good luck!!

    Diluted peroxide will kill the gnats, cinnamon on the top soil will kill the fungus they eat.
