Does it matter where you place a humidifier? How close to your plants. And do only certain plants need it?? Help please

    I dont know much about this stuff. I think the humidifier should be close to the plants. Mine is. Also, it should be on 6-8 hours a day when it’s light. Whatever you do, DONT keep it on 24/7. You may get gnats on your plants.

      I use grow lights on my tomato plants when its a foggy day with not a lot of sun. But on a sunny day I dont use it.

    I place mine close to my humidity loving plants I only run mine for 4 hours a day or it can get too humidified!

    Get yourself a humidistat to give you a better idea of how much moisture is in your air. If you have A/C running, your home is probably dry. I have one humidifier next to my needy plants. It runs 24 hours a day, gets refilled every morning because it is empty. It holds 6 liters. You have quite a few succulents. They don’t need it or want it. The humidity ranges from 40 to 60% throughout the day. I have a humidistat next to the humidifier.
