I recently chopped one of the stems on my FLF & this morning I noticed a bunch of new little buds 🌱✨

So satisfying when you see that, isn’t it?

SUPER! I’ve seen people say once you chop it’ll only branch out & won’t grow upwards anymore. I only cut one stem to see what happens. Eventually the other one will also get a chop ✂️

I have one that looks like it’s been through hell and back! lol I was thinking of cutting it back, I have 3 leave from 4 stems but small, and does have growth! I wonder if I should try it!?! If I cut it can I root the top cuts in water? 🤔

I’ve tried rooting my tops in water twice & they rotted both times😭😭 I’ve seen people have better luck rooting ficus in perlite, so I was going to try that next time

Oh, ok! I have perlite! Maybe I’ll try that! Also wondered if I should let it callus over after cutting before potting..

Definitely! At least a couple hours,I’ve seen you can also put some super glue on the fresh wound
