Why are my Bird of Paradise leaves curling? I’ve tried everything. I have 3. Each one is growing New leaves but the older leaves are curling. I just added another grow light one day ago wondering If it’s not enough light in this corner. Unfortunately this is the only spot I have.
BOPs are a plant fail for me, but I found that lack of humidity was a significant factor in my case. I had a lot of very curly leaves 😩
1 Like Thanks, I run a humidifier several times a week. And I mist the leaves at least once a week.

Could also be too bright for it? Not sure about birds of paradise specifically but leaves can also curl from too much light. The soil might be drying out too fast also with too bright of light or you might need more humidity so perhaps running the humidifier more often.
1 Like Thanks I’ll try running it more often. These BOP’s are confusing me. With rewarding me with new leaves and curling leaves at the same time. I wish my birdies would pick a lane🙄🤪
