Does anyone have any knowledge on hibiscus plants? I have six. My first year with them. This one is my biggest flower so far. I live in Indiana so I know I have to bring them in for the winter. However, I’ve been told I can bring them in and let them hibernate the winter and bring them back out when the frost has passed for the season and they will come back. Does anyone know if this is true or not? Any help is appreciated. I have only $60 in them. But, I’d like to keep them alive, I got them to add to my flower beds which also is my turtles outdoor enclosure.

    I live in Florida so the winter here is nowhere near the same, but we just put ours in the garage or put a blanket over it for cold weather

      Do you think if I plant them and cover them like I do my banana trees ( I put a tomato cage over it then put leaves and newspaper along with coconut husk in the cages to insulate it) it would work?

      I mean, if it works on banana trees, those are tropical and would hate the cold much more than a nice sturdy hibiscus. Sounds like a good plan if it’s been going well so far
