Hey besties!! I’ve recently joined the world of houseplants and was looking for some advice. I live in an apartment that doesn’t get insane amounts of natural light and I don’t have a patio or anything to put my plants for sunlight. Is there anything I can do to help give them better light? So far they look like they’re doing alright, I’m just worried they’re gonna die from no light. Or even if you have some tips and tricks for a new plant mom! For better context I have a guzmania.

Consider getting a grow light. Some plants can live in low light growing slowly. Most plants need bright indirect or full light to thrive.

I was going to say about the same thing as Sunny said. I have one east facing and the rest are north facing windows so i have alot of growlights around my apartment. My plants are going just fine. Well most of them lol

You can also get window shelves to add more plants to the few windows u do have

Grow lights. If you just have a few you can buy a tabletop lamp like this and cluster a few.

I have many succulents so need a lot of grow lights. But warning from experience, those cheap tube grow lights on Amazon advertising the “colors” they can change too are worthless. You need full spectrum lights. The reviews are not always reliable because many people have no idea how bright a grow light needs to be. I rely on Sansi and Barrina. I have a couple off brands that are good. Sansi is probably the most efficient but for general tropicals Barrina would be excellent. I just took a pic for another post but you will see I have a lot of lights.
