How do y'all move with your plants? I don't really have enough floor space in my car for all of them, any tips?

If you have plants in ceramic/terracotta, repot them into plastic planters, which are a lot less likely to break! Use boxes with dividers & fill empty space with paper towels. Use seatbelts, bungee cords. Wrap tops of pots in plastic or saran wrap to keep the soil from spilling

Use a shallow but wide laundry basket, that way you can set it on the seat and buckle it in. When placing the plants in the basket you can also put towels and/or sheets in the empty spaces to prevent them from moving around and spilling. But if they do still spill at least it will mostly be in the basket and not your back seat. Good luck!

Just moved recently myself. If you’re moving far away, it’s definitely more difficult, but all your smaller plants can likely be packed into boxes with peanuts, shredded paper, etc. You can close the box and they should be fine for several days, just make sure you don’t pack the boxes too heavy. Larger plants can either be put in an open, large box or will need to just be put on the floor or seat. Don’t worry too much about protecting the plants, most are likely resilient and will bounce back if they lose some leaves. Good luck! I know it’s stressful, but you’ll get them to their new home!

Pack them like you're going to ship them is easiest

I just moved! I went to Costco and got a bunch of produce boxes with handles and placed them gently in and took multiple trips with my plants in my trunk. You can also find boxes like this at aldi
