Worm castings are great for when you repot or for making a “compost tea,” similar to eatyacarbs’ banana peel method. Organic brands can be ordered online or sometimes found at hardware store/garden centers For a liquid fertilizer, my favorite brand is Botanicare Pure Blend Pro. It’s easy to add to water, doesn’t burn the roots at higher doses, and doesn’t smell fishy (I think it’s vegan ingredients). I’ve been using it religiously for years lol

One of my life hacks for tropical plants is constantly keeping a pothos propogating. My Goldens grow very quickly and I keep them trimmed down. I keep a mason jar with distilled water and pothos cuttings. I then use the hormone charged water in my watering can and all my tropicals love the mixture

I didn’t explain, but for any who didn’t know, pothos cuttings are often used to help propagate other plants as they release an excessive amount of growth hormone into the water

I never heard of this but it’s kinda weird because I’m propagating my pothos right now!

I’ve gotten to a point where if I don’t have a cutting, I’ll go make one just to keep supplying the water

I’ve been using Marphyl, a phytoplankton fertilizer. Smells like a fish tank in the bottle but not when it’s added to water. Organic and never expires.

My plants love this stuff. It has worm castings and bat guano so make sure you shake it REALLY well if you try it. I’ve had no issues with it this far. Some of my plants I let it soak in for a night and then drain them and that’s ended up saving a couple of them.
