My family is welcoming a cat to our home tomorrow! I am concerned about my plants and wondered if anyone has suggestions on how to train them from destroying them. Thank you for your help!

    The easiest thing is to try and keep them out of reach, research and put all the toxic plants out of the way. In my experience anything in reach will be chomped

    My new kittens just knock stuff over, so as long as it's out of reach you might be good to go :)

    If you’re lucky, your cat may not even care about your plants & leave them alone. Still safer to put them out of reach.

    If you have big pots on the ground wrap them in tin foil. Idk but cats hate it. Eventually the cat will stay away from that plant

    Congrats on your new cat!! Honestly I can’t keep my cats from chewing on certain plants so I keep them out of reach. Most cats hate the smell of citrus so you could keep some peels around the plants to make them less appealing ☺️
