   So peace lilies aren’t true lilies and aren’t *as* toxic - that is, a couple of grains of peace lily pollen won’t kill a cat, unlike a true lily. However, they are still toxic in that they can cause gastrointestinal irritation, drooling, vomiting, and trouble swallowing. If your cat does get into it at some point (and they probably will; many cats love to chew on leaves because they’re cats), you’ll want to contact poison control & your vet and keep a close eye on them. Personally, I wouldn’t keep one in a house with my cat, but he is a horrible demon beast who seeks out ways to make my life harder. Your mileage may vary.
