What kind of cactus is this? I got it about 20 years ago. It was maybe 4” high with a cute little wavy and furry top. It has metal rods for support now. Does anyone else have one of these?

    I don’t think it’s that one. It has a base. The fuzzy stuff was about a half inch high and did t start sending out shoots until maybe 5 years ago. Or do Monkey Tails start from a base? It’s almost like two different cacti.

    looks like a crested monkey tail cactus that was grafted onto a dragonfruit base. you can trim off the long pieces and propagate them to create a new monkey tail and return the original plant to a similar state to what you got it in.
