Hello! New to this community, but thrilled to be here! I’m struggling with the wrath of fungus gnats, specifically in my giant monsteras. I’ve done a hydrogen peroxide flush and watered with mosquito bit water and sprinkled mosquito bits on top of the soil. I also have sticky tape to catch the grown-up gnats, but I’m still seeing them! Any other tips? Do I need to just replace the top few inches of soil?

How long ago did you first treat and how many times have you watered with the mosquito bit tea?

I treated with hydrogen peroxide about a week ago and then a week before that and watered with mosquito bit tea two days ago. Am I expecting too much too soon? 😂

Yes 😂! They are irritating little dudes, so I get it! In my experience you’ve got to water with the tea SEVERAL times before you get them all. I had a BAD case in some soil all my prayer plants and Calathea’s were repotted in, in AUGUST. I thought I’d FINALLY rid myself of all of them but I pulled my red maranta down today to water and the sticky was just COVERED! 🤮🤮🤮 You could also bottom water for awhile and see if that helps.

I have those in my cart from Happy Happy Houseplants! What is the difference between these and mosquito bits?
