I have a parlor palm in a 12” pot. How much water should I use when I water it?

Give it enough water so that the water flows freely through the drain holes. This means placing the pot in a shower or outside.

Yeah..but it also depends on the size ,if its a small plant give it a small amount if its a big plant give it a big amount just not WAY too much

The size is irrelevant when you are not measuring a fixed amount of water. The key is to fully saturate the soil. Top watering it requires letting the water flow freely through the potting mix. Bottom watering means setting the pot in a container of water and letting the water wick up until the top soil is moist. Bottom watering has a better chance of completely wetting all of the soil. It’s easier to fertilize while bottom watering.
