Yesterday I spun through Lowe’s to see if there was any plants I could rescue on clearance. I purchased something I swore I’d never buy. Alocasia tiny dancer. She is currently quarantined in my bathroom where my props are. She is in the tub. The props are on the windowsill. I see no evidence of pests. She has been sprayed with insecticide. What do I do next? I know these plants are spider mite magnets and I’ll literally have an aneurysm if I find any. Should I repot her? Or just let her live her best life? Should I love her to the other bathroom away from the props?

I have no idea why she was half off. There’s nothing wrong with her at all.

I would let her live her best life in the pot for a week or two till shes used to your environment & quarantine from your other plants then report it her in fresh soil in case there’s any bugs in there

Is it ok to keep her in the same room with the props in the windowsill? Shes down in the tub, maybe…. 2 or 3 feet away from them.

It shooouuld be fine! Ive never had any of my props get any bugs on them so im sure their okay with being near it! (If your props are in water! If you Do props in soil i would then keep them away just in case)
