What’s wrong with my string of bananas? Lots of dead brown “bananas” on her? Too much water not enough? Help please

Plant needs well draining soil (I use cactus/succulent soil amended with pumice), and lots of light. May be watered too much. Should be 100% dry, and water when the banana starts to crinkle a little

Thank you! I use a chunky soil mix, orchid bark, top soil, perlite, a little peat moss and worm castings. Think i should switch and put her in succulent soil?

Yes switch, bark and peat moss holds on to moisture.

Mine did the same thing. If outside it is warm and humid let it live outside and it will grow and stop dying.

I live in Michigan, temps are creeping down :(

I would then recommend a bathroom with a bright window because it is somewhat humid and bright.
