I’m a new plant parent and am very overzealous right now trying to give my plants their perfect conditions throughout the day. How bad is it to frequently move my plants around (between my bedroom-west, bathroom-south, and lower lit-with grow lamps)? I’m sure I’m stressing them out but if I’m home during the day I want to make sure they get enough light.

haha definitely stop doing this. some plants tolerate it better than others, but in general it’s shocking how something seemingly so harmless can *really* stunt growth

Some plants wouldn't care about this. But if the temperature varies much, it could start to stress them. I've gone through rearranging periods where I'm moving plants around regularly till I like the set up. And haven't had an issue. But most of them aren't super sensitive plants either. And the temp isn't instantly changing from one room to another. Like grow house to near cold window

It doesn’t matter were you place it, because monsteras are known to thrive in pretty much any light conditions and temperature that isn’t too cold, due to being well known as an extremely adaptable plant that will adapt to environment you put it in your house.

You gotta catch yourself when you’re caring too much. I’ve been on my plant journey for 2 years, and I still do it sometimes. 😅

Yup. I'm a helicopter 🚁 mom too. I'm working on it. Talk-therapy works. You've come to the right place.
