Beginner questions. If I cut the end off a marble queen pothos to propagate it, will it continue to grow where I cut it? Will the un-cut end of the cutting continue to grow? I have a pothos that has one loooong strand and it's getting unmanageable.

no and yes. pruning is actually wonderful for your vining plants, as it allows for bushier & fuller growth while preventing the dreaded balding everyone fears once their vines get long. the stub where you cut the stem will not regenerate, but another stem will sprout from one of the remaining nodes on the cut stem, and most of the time you get multiple new stems when you give your plant a haircut
3 J'aimeGive it a chop!! I have one plant (Papa Vine) that is a single vine but the sire of over a dozen bushy pothos plants all because of propogation!!
