i've never really been in the habit of fertilizing (😅), but now that i'm the caretaker of the plants in my household, i've accumulated some of my own, and i'm really getting into plants i would like to find a good fertilizer i can use for all of them. the last time they were fertilized, we used some miracle grow (which i still have) and they exploded with growth. i'm willing to get some higher quality fertilizer, but if you have good experience with miracle grow, i'll use what i have on hand! what are your recommendations? thanks in advance!

Standard Miracle Gro works. I’ve used it for many years. The only downside is chemical, lab created, fertilizers can leave salt/minerals buildup in the soil that has to be flushed with water each growing season to flush out all the salts. This is not a big problem. Organic fertilizers like manure, seaweed, algae, and compost, etc., also works. The fertilizer’s NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) numbers may be unbalanced, too low/high or unknown. Organic is the old school way and it worked for our ancestors. They didn’t need an NPK number. 😁 There are many manufacturers pushing their specialty fertilizers. Use them if they work for you and you are happy with the results. Keep in mind more expensive does not necessarily mean a higher quality product. 🪴🍀
