Blackening of peace lily leaves can be a sign of various problems, but the most common causes include over-watering, under-watering, poor drainage, low humidity, or exposure to direct sunlight. Here's what you can do to address the issue: Check the soil moisture: Stick your finger about an inch into the soil.

Peace lilies are very dramatic. Over or under watering can be the problem but there’s a very fine line between the two. Mist your plant at least twice a week. Also, you may not see it but us also possible that you an issue with bugs. You can always try Neem and see if that helps. I keep my peace lily in a location where it gets bright indirect light and about 2hours if direct sunlight. Good luck!!

I would put it in an east facing window so it gets the morning sun that isn’t very harsh.
