Hello everyone! I got this fern about about a year ago and it has grown fairly large. Theirs a few very long strands that hang down from my plant. It is okay to trim it? Will it stop the growth from that section completely or will it keep growing. This is my only fern so wanted to make sure it was okay to trim before doing so! Thanks for any responses!

This is a Boston fern. It is typical for them to have yellowing and Browning leaves on the underside of the plant. Definitely cut these off. You can even cut off green ones from underneath. With the growing season coming it will produce plenty of top growth. They are water hogs and they love humidity.
