I have a zz plant and a philodendron that look like they’re leaning to the side a bit. Is this normal, or should I get support stakes?

    Yep that’s normal! They are leaning toward the sun. Just turn them every once in a while. Also the Zz will take longer to turn after you turn the pot.

    I do a quarter rotation every time I water. That way I don’t forget!

    Yes they are reaching towards the light, just give them some support such as a bamboo stick or even a chopstick. Turn your plants each time you water them so they grow evenly all the way around
