I just bought this plant but i didn’t realize it was stained with this white stuff. Does anyone know what this is and how to remove it?

    They look like water spots? Do you water it often—maybe less watering?

    They should wipe off, could be spots from hard water or fertilizer..both from the greenhouse.

    I clean my plant leaves with a mixture of neem oil, water, a little bit of dish soap (dawn) and a little bit of alcohol with a microfiber glove. Shake it up in a spray bottle, spray them down and wipe her down with the glove. Water spots come off easily, your leaves will be shiny and bugs will stay away. Works great.
