Help please with this plant, I have had this Olvera for probably about four or five years and it has been doing great and then all of a sudden through the past two months it has just got these black spots on it and it is getting worse and worse and I think it’s killing it and I have no idea what to do. Anything will help, thanks

Yep yep yep, this was the exact problem that happened to my five year old Aloe Vera, I tried treating it and I think I was too late in the game. It’s basically a fungal disease, my advice would be to change out the pot and soil completely. Get a well draining soil with lots of chunky rocks and pebbles and perlite (no miracle grow cactus succulent soil, that’s just soil and not anything for actual desert plants). Get a well draining and breathing pot too, treat the roots with hydrogen peroxide and water to kill any fungus in the roots. Then I’d find a fungicide that has really good reviews, I would tell you what I used but it didn’t revive mine so idk if what I used helped. And try and treat the plant according to the directions on the bottle. Best of luck!

Of course! I really hope this guy pulls through, it sucks watching something you’ve had for awhile slowly go downhill
