Can anyone help me identify this plant? I decided I’d try my luck with this Walmart clearance plant since it doesn’t look too bad. The pot says “golden Pothos” but ChatGPT says it is a Swiss cheese plant. I immediately noticed the very few fenestrated leaves the plant already has.

I’m thinking maybe a sad “Mini Monstera” also, which is less commonly called the Rhaphidophora tetrasperma

It’s a Baltic Blue pothos. They can take direct morning sun and noon shade. They grow like crazy. The one in the photo more than tripled in length in one season. Dry out before watering. I used Miracle Grow.

Okay thank you, your picture definitely looks like a much better version of my plant. Sadly I only have 1 south and 1 north facing window so not much direct light, but I do have a large grow light in my living room as well as a few more ordered. Do you know a good distance to place it from my grow light? Also will the leaves perk back up after watering? I just got it this afternoon, it was completely dry so I’ve watered it and removed anything dead.

Put a sheer curtain on the window. Window film works too and there are hundreds of patterns offer varying degrees of light filtration. I’ve hung shade cloth with suction cup hooks. You can also move the plant back from the window in summer when the sun is most intense. New environments cause temporary stress on the plant from changes to light, water, humidity, fertilizers and soil when repotted. It could take weeks to adjust. Watering and more light should help perk up the plant. Again, let the soil dry between watering. 🪴🍀

I have horrible windows due to doors opening towards the window🙄 making even less space for my plants🥲
