Hi friends! Does anyone know what this long stalk coming from my peperomia is? It wasn’t there when I bought it back in May but has since grown in. Just wondering if I should cut it back to encourage growth in the main leaves. Thank you!! 🌱

3 Me gustaThanks yall!! Will enjoy the bloom then :)
1 me gustaYeah it looks like a bloom but the word is kinda misleading. You won’t be getting a big beautiful flower. What you have is pretty much it. Very small flowers on that stalk.
0 Me gustaYes I agree it is a flower offshoot
0 Me gustaPeperomia ferreyrae a species of plant in the genus Peperomia It is a small, succulent herb, growing erect to about 20 cm in height. The alternating, typically 3 to 5 cm long leaves, are in the form of tubes resembling green bean pods: U-shaped in cross-section with epidermal windows on the top-side.
