Hi friends! Does anyone know what this long stalk coming from my peperomia is? It wasn’t there when I bought it back in May but has since grown in. Just wondering if I should cut it back to encourage growth in the main leaves. Thank you!! 🌱

      Yeah it looks like a bloom but the word is kinda misleading. You won’t be getting a big beautiful flower. What you have is pretty much it. Very small flowers on that stalk.

    I think your id may be incorrect. This is a peperomia obtusifolia. I think it’s a peperomia but different kind.

    Peperomia ferreyrae a species of plant in the genus Peperomia It is a small, succulent herb, growing erect to about 20 cm in height. The alternating, typically 3 to 5 cm long leaves, are in the form of tubes resembling green bean pods: U-shaped in cross-section with epidermal windows on the top-side.
