I just got this plant yesterday I am thinking about repotting on tomorrow should I? Or should I wait and if so how long before I repot?

    I usually say it’s best to wait a week or so to repot to let your plant acclimate a bit to the new environment so you avoid shock

    the reason i don’t do what cypress is suggesting it that a week really isn’t a lot of time to acclimate and if you wait you’re changing the conditions again — so i think it’s best to get it all out of the way up front. you’re also able to get eyes on the root system and take control of the substrate from the jump

      Ok in the past I have repotted soon as bringing home but also seeking advice if I should repot now or wait awhile.

    I wait to repot at least 3 to 4 weeks unless the plant looks like it’s dying. Growers like Steve’s Leaves void the replacement warranty if you repot before 30 days. They believe the plant needs that much time to acclimate to a new environment. I would pull off the pot to check for root rot on plants with yellowing leaves. It looks over watered. Spider plants need their soil to completely dry out before watering again. Their thick baby carrot roots hold a lot of water.
