I must have gotten some water in the crown of my orchid because this is what one of its leaves looked like this morning!😢just removed it and sprayed some peroxide to remove the bacteria. Hopefully it stops there. This has been my longest lasting orchid to date! I can not have her die.

    this is a bacterial infection! called bacterial soft rot. treat with a systemic fungicide, isolate from other plants, and increase airflow.

      Which systemic fungicide do you recommend? I already use death drops by happy houseplant in my watering and I think that’s a fungicide.

      I hear good things about the Bonide brand. they're made for outdoors but indoors, use the granules and use less than on the package & you should be okay.
