There is a baby mushroom growing out of my monstera, is this okay for my plant? Should I get rid of it or should I let it have its journey there?

    I live in a humid state and my caladium soil gets them. I pluck them out but they’re not harmful if you leave them.

    I’d take it out because if you leave it for too long it could multiple and harm the plant. I’d also make sure when you take it out to get all the roots

    Mushroom is a sign too of lack of air circulation or too wet of soil! So dry it more in between waterings and or get a fan around the area

    Looks like something in the coprinoid mushroom family. It's harmless to plants. It means you have good soil, and can indicate overwatering if you see the mushrooms often. Do not allow pets or people to eat them (they're known to make people sick when eaten with alcohol). They mature to be rather pretty if you decide to leave them
